Scissor Lift & Powered Pallet Truck Training
Professional On-Site Scissor Lift and Powered Pallet Truck Training
DSUK Training provides professional, ITSSAR-accredited scissor lift and powered pallet truck training for businesses throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
All training is carried out on your premises, using your own equipment. This allows operators to learn and develop their skills using the machinery, working environment and types of loads they will encounter in their everyday roles.
Whether you require training for new operators or refresher training for experienced employees, we can tailor our courses to meet your business requirements.
Our training combines classroom-based theory with practical exercises and assessments, helping operators develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required to operate workplace machinery safely and competently.

Benefits of On-Site Operator Training
Choosing on-site scissor lift and powered pallet truck training offers several advantages for your business.
Training using your own equipment
Operators gain experience using the actual machinery they will be expected to operate in the workplace, rather than unfamiliar equipment at an external training centre.
Improved workplace safety
Proper training helps operators understand the risks associated with machinery operation, reducing the likelihood of accidents, injuries and equipment damage.
Reduced business disruption
There is no need to transport employees to an external training facility. We arrange training at your premises and work around your operational requirements wherever possible.
Increased operator confidence and productivity
Competent operators are better equipped to carry out their duties safely and efficiently, helping to improve workplace productivity and maintain a safer working environment.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Employers have a legal responsibility to ensure employees are adequately trained to use workplace equipment safely.
The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 places general duties on employers to protect the health, safety and welfare of their employees.
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), particularly Regulation 9, requires employers to ensure that anyone using work equipment receives adequate training, including training in the methods of use, risks and precautions.
Where lifting equipment is involved, the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) may also apply to the equipment and lifting operations being undertaken.
Providing appropriate operator training is an important part of meeting your health and safety responsibilities and maintaining a safe working environment.
